I am a Canadian trained physiotherapist with 37 years of clinical experience, working in public, private and home care settings. Since I am semi-retired, I decided to receive my Yoga Instructor certification in 1920. Since then, I have been teaching as a self employed practitioner., which initially started online ( due to the Covid situation). My background as a physiotherapist has allowed me to use my detailed knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to ensure a safe and injury free experience for my students.

My 200 hours of yoga training has included study of the 8 limbs of Hatha yoga, anatomy, physiology, prana, meditation, yoga philosophy and lifestyles, ethics for yoga teachers, practicum, scriptural studies, restorative yoga, partner yoga, senior yoga, kids yoga, and partner yoga. My classes tend to include a combination of breath work, stretching and functional strengthening, with options and modifications provided for all levels of practice.
