I am a dedicated yoga teacher with a heart full of gratitude for the transformative power of yoga. At 55 years of age I bring a wealth of life experience and a deep sense of mindfulness to my practice and teaching. I completed my first 100 hours with the Marianne Wells Yoga School. I am currently slated to complete 200 hours with Marianne at the end of April, 2025. I am excited to share the benefits of yoga with others, especially those who are new to the practice or looking to reconnect with their bodies in a gentle, mindful way.

Though I am in the early stages of my teaching journey for yoga, I have been teaching students in high school for over ten years. My personal yoga practice began over 2 years ago as a means of finding balance and healing during a challenging time of physical injuries. Yoga has become an integral part of my daily routine, not only for physical health but also for emotional and mental well-being. This personal transformation has inspired me to deepen my knowledge and share the practice with others.

I specialize in gentle, restorative, and beginner-friendly yoga, focusing on building strength, flexibility, and inner peace. I emphasize the importance of mindfulness, proper alignment, and breathwork in my classes, creating a welcoming space where students of all levels feel supported and encouraged. My goal is to help my students feel comfortable and confident as they explore their own yoga practice, whether in the studio or at home.

When I am not on the mat, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking in nature, and photography. I believe that yoga is for every body, regardless of age or ability, and I am committed to helping others find their own path to health and happiness through the practice.
