Shanon has been teaching yoga since 2015. She has taught over 2,000+ yoga classes and also has a certification in "Life Stages and Transitions," from the Sociology Dept. of FHSU that she uses techniques from when teaching meditation sessions.
Shanon started practicing yoga at the age of 16 when a traumatic illness forced her to have to stop any type of aerobic activity for a couple of years. Yoga not only helped her eventually heal physically to get back to doing aerobic exercise but also helped her find the peaceful place in her mind that she was looking for. Yoga saved her mentally and physically and she enjoys passing that feeling on to her yoga students to also help them find that peaceful healing place in their mind and body.
