Olivia Harris

 

I’m a Group Fitness Instructor with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, where I combined my love for movement with leadership through roles like VP Finance for the Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation Society and Treasurer of the Triathlon Club. With years of experience in fitness, education, and event coordination, I’ve discovered that teaching group fitness is hands-down my favorite job—there’s nothing better than helping people move, feel strong, and have fun doing it.

Currently, I lead classes with the City of Edmonton, creating welcoming, high-energy environments that encourage people of all abilities to show up and feel their best. I love teaching strength and conditioning classes, cycling classes, and recovery stretch/foam rolling classes. My goal as an instructor is to bring out the play and athleticism in every participant, regardless of ability level. With the City of Edmonton, I teach classes with up to 40 participants of all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, and make an effort to create an exceptional experience for all of them.

I’ve taught swimming, facilitated leadership retreats, developed wellness content, and worked internationally as a research practicum student in France. My foundation in kinesiology, paired with years of experience in customer service, program development, and public speaking, equips me to connect deeply with others and inspire positive lifestyle changes.

Now, I’m combining my passion for travel with my love of fitness. I want to help people stay active while on vacation—leading energizing classes that are both fun and rejuvenating, so guests leave feeling better than when they arrived. Whether it’s sunrise sculpt or upbeat group strength, I’m here to bring good vibes, great music, and movement that feels amazing.
