My love and ambition for fitness started as a kid, with cross country, soccer, and swim fueling my years through high school. After graduating from Florida State University in 2011, I pursued a business career that eventually brought me all the way to Utah. Here, I fell in love with trail running, backpacking, and skiing in Utah's world-class mountains.
In 2016, I injured my neck in a serious car accident that ultimately prevented me from doing the activities I loved most. Literal years of up-and-down recovery led me to Pilates. After only a few months, I was finally able to heal and live pain-free again. Through my own rehabilitation, I was able to witness firsthand the magic that Pilates had on others; including on my husband, Alex. Lingering wear and tear from collegiate baseball caused Alex years of back pain. When conventional therapies failed, I convinced him to try Pilates - the results were once again life changing.
Through these experiences, Pilates quickly became my passion. I left my corporate career to help others heal, increase their fitness levels, and live an active lifestyle. I became a proud graduate of the internationally renowned BASI (Body Arts and Science International) Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Program. As a practitioner, I am continuously inspired by Pilates, especially its ability to re-educate and heal the body. I know I can help you, too!
