I graduated Gettysburg College in 1994 with a BA in English and a minor in German and French. After graduation I persued my Masters degree in Education at Adelphi University and graduated in 1995.
I successfully obtained a job teaching English in Texas for 4 years before moving back to N.Y., where I was born and raised, to teach English at my current job at Comsewogue H.S. I have been teaching at Comsewogue now for 9 years and coaching tennis in many different capacities for all 9 years.
I have coached teams to League titles 3 years in a row, developed the only boys and girls All county doubles teams in the history of Comsewogue H.S. and am currently coaching the boys Varsity team in an undefeated season.
While coaching at the High School and Junior H.S. level I have also been able to develop a private tennis instructional business teaching ages from 4-74 for the last 9 years. My private business runs from the spring through the fall with a packed schedule of approximately 28 hours of lessons (private & groups) a week.
To solidify my creditientials as a teaching professional I obtained my professional teaching license through the USPTA in 2005 and have maintained the status of my license through the present.
I am a patient yet enthusiastic and creative instructor. I am dedicated to my profession by constantly researching the latest drills, games, teaching techniques, and equipment, and I look forward to the opportunity to share my love and enthusiam for the game with your clients.
