Founder of FitwMalis LLC, Malissa Earl brings over 36 years of experience in fitness, education, and wellness to every class and client she serves. A certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer through AFAA, Malissa holds a wide range of specialized certifications, including TRX, Pumped Up Strength, MyFiit, Menopause Mentor, Cycle, Practical Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Kettlebell, and Cardio Drumming—a dynamic workout similar to Pound that uses a stability ball, bucket, and drumsticks.
Malissa holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Health and taught high school for 28 years. She is also a certified BLS/CPR Provider through the American Heart Association. Her educational background and fitness expertise make her uniquely equipped to serve a wide range of clients with an emphasis on safe, effective programming.
Specializing in strength training, weight loss, group fitness, and personalized training for women aged 35 and up, Malissa is known for her ability to adapt workouts for all ability levels. She skillfully modifies exercises to meet the needs of individuals with injuries or health conditions, ensuring that everyone can move safely and confidently.
In addition to teaching daily at a local YMCA, Malissa offers virtual fitness classes, allowing clients to train with her from anywhere. She is a regular attendee of professional fitness conferences and has been recognized in local media for her impact on the community. Her passion for empowering others through movement shines through in every session—whether in-person or online.
