I discovered yoga over forty years ago, helping me find balance with my corporate workload as well as raising a family. I've always been energetic and interested in learning ways to enhance my own health, as well as sharing that knowledge with others.
While living in the West Valley of Phoenix, I found Ignite Yoga Studios and became a part of their tribe. The desire to share my passion and knowledge of yoga inspired me to become a teacher. I completed my 200-hour and 300-hour Advanced Teacher Trainings with Ignite Yoga, specializing in working with those suffering from Auto-Immune disorders and chronic pain, offering healing techniques and postures. I also completed certifications in Kids Yoga and Chair Yoga. My teachings include All-Levels, Gentle Flow, and Therapeutic Yoga using the fluid movement styles of Anusara, Vinyasa, Prana Flow, and Kundalini. My themed classes offer alignment, anatomy, strength, and a deeper meaning of yoga with a positive, caring, and loving attitude.
After relocating to Summerville, SC in late 2021, I joined the Cane Bay YMCA team in January 2022, teaching Gentle Yoga. Because of my passion for teaching, I also earned the PWR! Certification, Silver Sneakers Certificate, and Tai Chi working with both Seniors and Parkinson’s group. I offer both groups a mix of cardio, strength, balance, and agility with that same positive, caring, and loving attitude.
