Natalie Petrulla (she/her) received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Epic Yoga DC in 2023 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (200hr RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She began her yoga journey over a decade ago, using yoga as exercise for stress relief. While initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, she developed a true passion for yoga after diving deeper into her practice, by incorporating pranayama and other elements of traditional yoga into her physical asana practice.
Beyond the mat, yoga has brought community throughout her life. As her career has moved her to New York City, Washington DC, and abroad to Benin and Senegal, her yoga practice has kept her grounded and served as a place to make connections across the world. Natalie is passionate about creating a space for community in her teaching, focusing on creating an inclusive environment for all students.
Natalie teaches hatha, vinyasa, and hot yoga classes as moving meditations, creating moments for both dynamic movement and stillness that allow students of all levels to de-stress and create connections between the breath, mind, and body.
Beyond yoga, Natalie teaches various fusion classes, including yogalates, pilates sculpt, and yoga sculpt for students looking to build strength in their yoga practice.
