I began my yoga journey as a result of managing back pain, and found it added so much more to my physical and mental health, including strength, flexibility, focus, stress relief, and reflection.  As a yoga instructor, I strive to balance the physical asanas, or poses, with the other limbs of yoga, to provide an experience that benefits the whole person, while honoring individual differences. Bring your mat and an open mind, and together we will create a fun, uplifting experience. 

My husband and I have been blessed with three wonderful children who form our own personal "rescue squad," including a firefighter, a police officer, and a doctor. When I am not working as an elementary educator, I can be found traveling, reading, spending time chasing my grandchildren, and, of course, practicing yoga. My personal motto is to "Embrace the Journey" and I am so grateful to share part of my journey with you!
