Kellie Hayward

I have been a fitness and yoga instructor for over 25 years, and I am passionate about helping people move, feel strong, and find balance through wellness. For 10 years, I owned and operated my own gym, and since then I’ve had the privilege of teaching at a variety of gyms, studios, and community recreation programs, as well as working with Canadian travel fitness programs like NRG2GO.

Currently, I teach Body Sculpt, Step, Spin, and Yoga at a locally owned gym and through community recreation programs. I love offering a variety of classes that challenge both body and mind while keeping fitness fun and accessible for all ages and abilities. I have developed courses for a two-year diploma program (Fitness Leadership Fundamentals) for Sheridan College.

I hold certifications in 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ayurveda, CanFitPro Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS), Personal Training Specialist (PTS), and CPR. I have a Bachelors (Honours) in Business Communication from York University and a Masters in Education from Brock University. My teaching style blends strength, mindfulness, and accessibility, and I strive to create classes that leave people feeling empowered and energized.

Travel and teaching are two of my greatest passions, and I enjoy bringing fitness and yoga to new places and communities around the world. My goal is always to inspire others to embrace movement as a lifelong practice for health, happiness, and balance.
