Safia Khan is a South African-born yoga educator and community healer based in Atlanta. Her yoga journey began as a grounding tool during the challenges of immigration and navigating mental health. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she now shares mindful movement and embodiment practices at Life Time and Nectar Yoga. Safia is the creator of Magic Movement, a dynamic practice that blends yoga, meditation, affirmations, and self-expression. She is also the visionary behind Petals and Poses, a soulful offering at Urban Sprout Farms that weaves together yoga, flower picking, and sound healing. Her philanthropic work is deeply rooted in community, including ongoing partnerships with Refugee Women Network and the Boys and Young Men of Color initiative at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA. Through these collaborations—especially with the Carver High School Football Team—Safia creates safe, intentional spaces for healing, empowerment, and connection.
