Traci’s journey in fitness and rehabilitation began on the basketball court, where she played four years of collegiate ball at SUNY Oswego. While earning her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness Management—with a minor in Health Science and Athletic Coaching—she started working as a personal trainer at the campus fitness center, igniting a lifelong commitment to helping others achieve their physical potential.

She became an ACSM certified personal trainer and continued her education to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, OH in 2014. Throughout graduate school, Traci trained clients in a private gym setting, leading both individualized sessions and small group fitness classes. Her clinical experience spans multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics, where she focused on injury rehabilitation and preventative wellness strategies.

Frustrated by the limitations of traditional healthcare, Traci founded Train Away Pain—a practice that merges physical therapy with personalized training. Her mission is to empower clients to overcome pain, prevent injury, and build long-term strength through thoughtful, evidence-based programming.

Now NASM certified and CPR/First Aid certified, Traci offers one-on-one personal training, custom program development, and physical therapy services tailored to each client’s goals and needs. Whether you’re recovering from injury or looking to optimize your fitness level or performance, she brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge, athletic experience, and genuine care to every session.
