I have been immersing myself in the yoga community for the past eight years, working at the front desk and as a web designer for yoga studios before taking a teacher training. The Anusara method spoke to me because I noticed that all my Anusara teachers had a wide breadth of knowledge, and they always answered "Why?". I now understand why they were always so informed: the training was rigorous, and we had to take a series of exams, including Sanskrit, Anatomy, Philosophy, and Teaching Methodology to pass the course.
