Hi, my name is Raoul Bax and I am originally from The Netherlands. I started playing tennis at age 7. I soon found out that I had a true passion for tennis as a sport and started winning local and state tournaments helping me belong to the best 10 players in Holland by age 12. Then I left Holland at a young age to further my tennis dreams to go to Germany to enroll in a "SPORTSLEISTUNGSGYMNASIUM" , a high school for high performance athletes. I played various ITF junior tournaments throughout Europe and I finished my high school. In order to continue to play tennis, I decided to go to college in the USA.
I earned a Bachelor degree in International Business, while being awarded a 4 year full scholarship in tennis. I enjoyed playing tennis but also had aspirations to teach and coach tennis. I decided to earn a Master degree in Business financed through an assistantship as the Assistant Men's Tennis Coach. The education and experience in college got me ready to start my career in tennis as you can see from my professional experience.
I currently live happily in Atlanta, GA with my fiancee Zora and our red labrador Ace. In my free time, I enjoy traveling to new and exotic places, watch movies (action), listen to music (Simple Minds, INXS and Radiohead are my all time favorites), enjoy different cultures and their foods, work out and play different sports.
