Kristin Van Busum is a Yoga Alliance–certified instructor with advanced training in both classical yoga philosophy and movement science. She completed her 200-hour teacher training under masters Deep Kumar and Sadhana Om at Yoga New Vision in Ubud, Bali, and is on track to complete her 300-hour advanced certification in December 2025 through Down Under Yoga’s year-long Advanced Teacher Training Incubator under Kate Heffernan,

Kristin is trained to teach a wide range of class styles, including hot power yoga grounded in the Journey Into Power methodology, restorative and slow flow practices, and alignment-focused classes that emphasize strength, stability, and core integration.
Beyond the studio, Kristin brings over a decade of experience in leadership development and coaching for corporate teams, and she is the founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing girls’ education and literacy in Central America. Across all her work, she is committed to helping individuals access their fullest potential and live with integrity and purpose.
