Barbara Delmondes

Barbara Delmondes is a passionate and accomplished Director of Racquet Sports with over a decade of international experience in high-performance coaching, collegiate athletics, and elite private club leadership. A former No. 1 junior in Brazil and current ITF World No. 3 (35+), Barbara brings a lifelong dedication to tennis and a proven track record of building vibrant racquet sports communities.

Her journey spans from Brazil’s competitive junior circuit to NCAA Division I coaching, and most recently, to directing a thriving racquets program at Spouting Rock Beach Association in Newport, RI—where she led a 33% increase in participation and introduced new disciplines such as pop and beach tennis. She is known for her energetic, personalized coaching style and her strategic vision for racquet program development across all ages and skill levels.

Certified in tennis, pickleball, platform tennis, and padel, Barbara is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, with a unique multicultural approach that resonates with diverse member bases. Her leadership is grounded in resilience, gratitude, and a deep belief in racquet sports as a tool for personal growth, community building, and lifelong wellness.

Barbara is now seeking a year-round leadership role at a premier club where she can continue to inspire, innovate, and elevate racquet sports programming to new heights.
