Elena Blevins

Hi! I'm Elena a 38 year single mother with two daughters, ages 11 and 14. My full-time career is in tourism and hospitality and I spend most of my days promoting beautiful Kentucky Lake! When I'm not promoting the lake or talking bass fishing, I am usually transporting children, finding a good meal, and planning my next trip.  I believe self-love and self-care is vital to any momma or parent and so I strive to find weekly time to practice yoga, strength train and get my monthly massage!

I have recently received my 200 hour YRT certification. My background includes being a ballet dancer for nearly 15 years and this is part of the reason I was so drawn to yoga. I do not consider myself a hardcore yogi, but I am passionate about the practice of yoga and its ability to help me reconnect with myself and those around me. My yoga serves as a reset, sometimes as a stretch of the mind and body. I’ve also sort of referred to my life as a hot mess and yoga helps clean up the mess that life can sometimes cause whether intentional or not. I have always believed my gift is to meet people where they are in life and my hope is to demonstrate grace, empathy, and empowerment to younger generations of women while also teaching women my age and older the same lessons or to remind them to extend these qualities to themselves. We're just trying to do our best while we're here.
