Lindel Frater

Around four years ago, I discovered pickleball at recreational centers in the Crowley/Fort Worth area and quickly became enamored with the sport. I took up pickleball as a way for my wife, Shareen, and I to have a competitive activity to enjoy together. With a strong background in track and field, having competed in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 and the Sydney Olympics in 2000, as well as being a multiple-time All-American athlete at TCU, I found myself drawn to the competitive nature of the game.
