Felicia Montgomery

My name is Felicia Montgomery.  I began my career in fitness 16 years ago as a personal trainer, and have continued learning, growing and evolving since.  I am a NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, and have a wide variety of additional certifications and experience including Level One USAW Olympic Weightlifting Coach, Pilates, kettlebell training, functional training, dynamic mobility and stretching techniques, rehabilitation and corrective exercise training, and sports performance training.  I currently own a 24/7 fitness center where I coach group fitness classes and do one-on-one and small group personal training, as well has run an apprenticeship program for up and coming trainers to help them develop a true career in the industry. 

 

I personally enjoy fitness as a lifestyle.  I have participated in competitive Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and earned professional athlete status as a bodybuilder.  I no longer actively compete in anything, but continue to train hard like an athlete, preserving movement, strength, and mobility.  I weight train 4-5 days per week, engage in a Pilates, yoga, or mobility flow session 1-2 times a week and walk or hike daily.  

 

My husband and I share very similar lifestyles in terms of health and fitness, and we enjoy traveling internationally and domestically enjoying new places to train or be active.
