I have been working out since I was a kid. I played sports and loved every minute. I started teaching aerobics at a local gym when I was 15. I loved helping people get fit that when I entered college I set my major in the Fitness Industry. I trained to teach numerous formats of aerobics classes, from HIP HOP to KICKBOXING, to H20 aerobics. I also went through Yoga/ Pilates training. I started as a personal trainer in 1998 and am still one to this day. I finished my schooling with a BS in Exercise and Sports Sciences with a concentration in Fitness Leadership. I also hold a minor in dietary control. Today I work in a corporate fitness facility, training clients and teaching group exercise. On the side I teach group exercise at a local fitness center, volunteer as a Red Cross authorized provider teaching classes in CPR, First Aid, etc. in the Richmond area, I also go to school, and have several personal training client that I train for Marathon running on the side. I run, bike, dance, weight train and anything else that will keep me active. I am very energetic, upbeat and some call me crazy but I love what I do. I am a stickler for dietary control and that is why I have returned back to school to learn more, indepth about nutrition, and continue my education. One day I would like to be a teacher, possibly working with young children teaching them all about proper dietary habits and exercise so that maybe they will not grow up out of shape and have the chance for a long healthy life.
