Michelle Dammen

Hi! I’m Michelle, and I am an experienced yogi and yoga teacher. I’m passionate about practicing yoga for health, wellness, and the simple joy of sharing mindful movement with others. My approach to teaching centers on creating space for both physical release and mental relaxation, using breathwork and meditation as grounding tools to support the whole person.

In addition to being a yoga teacher, I’m also a special education teacher, and my experience spans teaching adults in community settings, leading professional workshops and retreats, and working with students of all ages in both classroom and virtual environments. This background deeply informs my teaching style. I strive to offer classes that are accessible, adaptive, and welcoming to every type of body and every level of experience.

I love exploring and guiding a wide range of yoga styles; GENTLE YOGA, RESTORATIVE YOGA practices that invite deep rest, to more intense, flowing sequences that build strength and energy. Whether it's HATHA YOGA, VINYASA YOGA or somewhere in between, my goal is to help students connect with themselves, honor their bodies, and leave feeling more balanced and at ease.
