Melissa is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor whose teaching blends mindful movement, functional strength, and a deep understanding of the human body. With a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford and a career in human performance and biomechanics, she brings a unique science-meets-soul approach to every class.
Her classes are grounding, accessible, and thoughtfully sequenced to meet students exactly where they are—whether supporting mobility, cultivating core stability, or building mind-body awareness. Melissa draws from her background in research, performance science, and holistic health to create meaningful experiences that help students reconnect with themselves through breath and movement.
As a traveling instructor, she loves sharing yoga with new communities and offering classes that bring ease, connection, and a sense of renewal to people wherever they are in their journey.
