Emily has practiced and loved yoga consistently over the span of 15 years. She began to deepen her practice in 2020, after she turned to yoga in grief and found it a powerful tool for self-care. She completed her 200-hour certification in May 2024 under Kate Goodyear at Nectar Yoga Studio in the Greater Philadelphia Area, training in Vinyasa with a particular interest in the restorative and therapeutic benefits of yoga. She has also been certified in Chair Yoga and Yin Yoga.
She believes in the transformative power of yoga, emphasizing building strength and mind body connection both on and off the mat. As an instructor, Emily aims to share yoga with others as a practice that is beneficial and accessible to everybody.
