LAURIE DEVER

Having started out teaching racquetball and managing a private club after college, I moved into a professional career in HR. Upon retirement, I discovered my love of pickleball and became an avid player and coach. I became a certified Pickleball coach in 2023, and I love teaching beginners and intermediates. I love seeing the light shine in players, having discovered the love of the sport, building new skills and friendships, and the joy of play!

I was fortunate enough to transfer my professional HR skills of coaching employees in the work world to coaching individuals and groups in pickleball! I have taught for private companies such as Carolinatennisandpickleball.com and Tennisbloc, as well as personally providing private lessons to individuals and groups. Currently, I teach at our local indoor facility, the HOP (House of Pickleball). I truly enjoy working with groups and individuals, and seeing people grow and improve their skills.
