Danielle McKinlay

Danielle (RYT-500) has been practicing since 2009 and teaching since 2015. Her alignment-focused teaching style pulls heavily from Iyengar and Anusara traditions, and she believes no matter style you practice, your Yoga should support wellness for your mind and body. Danielle loves to teach Flow, Yin, and Hatha yoga.

What began as DVDs in a dorm room turned into a dedication to the beautiful practice of Yoga. Danielle experienced firsthand the incredible impact Yoga has on one’s sense of self, confidence, and happiness. From being astudent to a mother of two, Yoga has been a constant influence in her outlook on life.

Going beyond the physical asana and tapping into the power of going within is the beauty of Yoga that Danielle tries to convey in each class. Danielle’s classes will push you and bring you to confront your self-limiting beliefs and patterns – all under her positive, knowledgeable, and engaging style. Danielle believes that yoga is for every body and is attainable by all, and provides hands on-assists and variations to support your practice.

Danielle is a life-long student and has embarked on studying Yogic philosophy, along with prenatal, children’s yoga and Yoga Therapy. She is currently enrolled in another 300hr with YogaMedicine and continues to study anatomy, physiology, and intelligent sequencing through some of the yoga community’s best teachers.

Danielle would very much like to thank her personal teachers, and those that teach alongside her. The knowledge, patience, and inspiration she has gained from them all is something that she will always be actively grateful for.
