Kirstin Peterson

Kirstin’s journey with yoga began in 2015, when she was drawn to its holistic approach of connecting body, mind, and spirit. What started as a physical workout soon blossomed into a profound source of joy, self-reflection, and personal growth. Her path to becoming a yoga teacher was a natural progression, deepening her practice through teacher training at Plover Yoga and finding a community that has since become like family.

With over 20 years of experience as a certified personal trainer, Kirstin’s deep knowledge of physical fitness infuses her classes with a focus on strength, mobility, and proper alignment. She blends her expertise in functional movement with the mindfulness and breathwork of yoga, creating a unique experience that encourages students to challenge their bodies while cultivating a sense of calm and awareness.

In her classes, Kirstin fosters an environment where students are encouraged to push their limits, explore new possibilities, and embrace both the playfulness and the stillness that yoga offers. Her goal is to help each person cultivate not just physical strength, but mental clarity and emotional balance—on and off the mat.
