From a young age, movement has been at the heart of who I am. I grew up immersed in gymnastics, soccer and volleyball - three sports that taught be discipline, teamwork, resilience and the pure joy of being active. I've always believed that kids who learn to play carry that love of movement into adulthood, and my own path has been proven that true. As an adult, I stayed deeply connected to physical activity through running, yoga, cycling, continually reminded that the body thrives when it is challenged, stretched, and allowed to move with purpose.

My career, both coincidentally and not so coincidentally, often paralleled my passion for sport. I spent years working alongside the world's most dynamic athletic organizations including the Canadian Olympic Committee, World Track and Field (IAAF), the Pan American Games and others. These experiences reinforced my belief in the power of physical activity - not just to build stronger bodies, but to build confidence, community and a sense of possibility.

Three years ago, I made the deliberate choice to leave corporate work and boardrooms behind and return to what has always grounded and inspired me: movement. I began training with Club Pilates in the US and become a certified instructor. Teaching has allowed me to share what I've known all my life - that the body is a incredibly intelligent, capable of healing itself, and responsive to mindful, consistent movement.

Today, I feel most connected to students who are curious about their bodies, committed to staying active, and who understand the link between physical activity and mental well-being. Where someone arrives seeking strength, recovery, relaxation or balance, my goal is to help them discover how movement can restore, energize and transform.

Alongside my studio work, I co-lead a brand and placemaking agency called honeycomb solutions.  In many ways, place making mirrors the foundational principles of pilates core strength, balance, coordination and alignment. Just as pilates helps build a strong centered foundation, placemaking focuses on strengthening the core of a community: its people/residents, public spaces and identity. Both disciplines require us to align vision with action and create environments where energy flows and grows.
