James Dwyer

I am a semi-retired website and software developer. I've spent my whole life coaching several sports to all age groups from age 4 to 82.

Originally from Philadelphia, PA I've been in Florida for 25 years. I have 2 adult kids and a toddler granddaughter whom I am looking forward to teaching pickleball. 

When I'm not working on my laptop, playing piano, or playing with my granddaughter, I am playing or coaching pickleball. I started playing pickleball 6 years ago, and have been coaching pickleball for 3 years.

I've played in and won in a local team league (2025), 3.5 men's doubles over 50, in Brevard County. From there our team went to the state championship at Pictona (Daytona, FL) and won gold. We went to the national championship for the Florida team league in Arizona last fall, and made it to the championship round, but came away with silver medals.

I've also played in local tournaments in 3.5 and 4.0 brackets and have medaled at both levels.
