Terri Counterman

Terri Counterman is an active pickleball instructor currently living in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She grew up in Troy, Michigan and played many sports in school and at the recreation level. Terri graduated valedictorian of her high school and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Michigan. After graduation, Terri went to work at Upjohn/Pfizer and stayed at this company for her entire career in Chemistry (34 years). Terri was an avid tennis player for 25+ years playing on multiple travel teams for many years. Terri started playing pickleball about 10 years ago and continued to improve her pickleball skills and quickly started to compete in tournaments, both locally and nationally. Terri continues to enjoy her time on the pickleball court as much as possible. In addition, Terri enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
