Alan Goeppinger

I started playing tennis is Sao Paulo, Brazil at the age of 10. Played on the varsity tennis team at Richwoods Highschool in Peoria, IL. Attended Bradley University on an tennis scholarship playing for 3 years. Started a racquet stringing/pro shop business my seinior year while being an assistant tennis pro at the Central Illinois Racquet Club. Following graduation from Bradley University, I was the Head Pro at Suburban Swim & Court in Peoria, IL. Played on the traveling tennis team for North Shore Racquet Club in Northbrook, IL from 2001 to present. Received my cetrification from USPTA in 2007. I am currently a Teaching Pro at Northbrook Racquet Club in Northbrook, IL. My philosophy when teaching tennis is to make it fun. Along with teaching stroke development/improvement I run drills that enhance a players game skills and strategies.
