I have always had an interest in fitness and weight lifting. I began lifting as a teenager, however, pursued another field for work. In my late twenties, I began participating in light heavy-weight weight lifting competitions. I won three titles - Mr. Philadelphia, Mr. New Jersey & Mr. Baldwin Hills. I stopped competing when the use of steroids became overwhelming in the competitions. When I began competing, I also got my certification as a personal trainer & began to support myself in that career. I moved to LA in 1997, and devoted myself to pursuing my dream of becoming a personal trainer. I taught many group exercise classes at many clubs throughout Southern California, and became known for salsa dancing. My professional name is "King T", and I also developed salsa aerobics before anyone else was doing it out in LA. With a strong reputation as a pro salsa dancer, I built my own business during that timeframe, and focus now primarily on boxing training.
