KELLY IANNELLI

Kelly is currently Teaching Jr High & High School Students Yoga & Fitness at Fusion Academy, & in the Summer she teaches at Yoga Bohemia on LBI Beach, SUP & studio Yoga in NJ. Kelly is also currently training as a Pacer for the New York Road Runners to Pace the Women’s Half in April 2026. Kelly also volunteers with Achilles to support athletes as a Guide during Big races like the NYC Half Marathon. Kelly enjoys coaching runners as well in their pursuit to finish their 1st Marathon or to hit a New PR (personal record). Kelly is a Lifelong Athlete who Loves supporting others to reach their Wellness Goals. So what was her path here…

In 2007 due to chronic inflammation from running marathons, Kelly was led to a steady Yoga practice, and ‘til this day she swears that Yoga is the only reason she is still running.  As a lifelong athlete, Kelly has come to understand the importance of consistency & discipline in her training.  Yoga is a Big part of maintaining her overall wellness to support & enhance her performance as an athlete.  In 2016, her aspirations to deepen her Yoga practice led Kelly to Rishikesh, India located in the Himalayan foothills on the banks of the Ganges River to study Yoga where she successfully earned her teaching certification in an intensive 30 day immersive training at Siddhi Yoga School.   Upon her return, she found herself being propelled right into teaching & quickly developed her own authentic style, which comes from her athletic background & Joy of tapping into her own power through physical movement & asana practice.  Athletes refer to it as the zone, the sweet spot where everything seems to fall right into place & flow perfectly with little effort.  In May 2021, Kelly traveled to Nepal to study at the Nepal Yoga Home where she completed their 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training earning her 500 E-RYT Certificate. 

Most recently in October 2024 Kelly traveled to Bali to study with KRI earning her 220 Hour International Yoga Training Certificate. Kelly truly loves sharing Yoga, and when asked what she has gained most from Yoga, she would have to say balance in her body, mind & spirit.  Kelly has taught 7500+ hours of Yoga since 2016 & completing 920 Hours of Training.  She has also always had a strong Core practice & has found it super supportive of her running & Yoga practice, which is why she really enjoys teaching Pilates as well & at times merges the two.  Her biggest wish for her students is that they walk away from her classes with a more profound awareness and connection to their body and how spectacular it really is so that they too will tap into their own Power in turn enhancing their experience of Life on & off the mat.  So what’s next for Kelly, follow her on Instagram to see @practice4Life ☺
