I discovered yoga while recovering from an injury. What had started as a way to move my body to heal turned into a practice of spiritual growth. I quickly learned that the practice of yoga was not how flexible I was or whether I could achieve the "perfect" pose, it was about my ability to focus on my breath while moving my body to cultivate more mindfulness and form a deeper connection with myself, eventually allowing my true authentic self to emerge. My classes combine strength, dynamic movement, and conscious breathing to facilitate a mediative state of mind, improve alignment and balance with the ultimate goal of feeling lighter and happier when you leave class.
