Tom Maynor

Tom Maynor moved to Charlotte with his family in 2014 and began working with John Sadri and his academy at Russell Racquet Club. Maynor Tennis Academy started in the summer of 2019 when Sadri moved. Since 2024 Tom has been the Head Professional at Mountainbrook before he was at Foxcroft East for 5 years where he also served as the Head Professional.
Prior to coming to Charlotte, Tom was at the Mt. Pleasant Tennis Center in SC where he was the Head Professional for 15 years with his brother. Before that, he was an NCAA Division I head coach at American University and had NCAA Division I assistant positions at Dartmouth, Campbell and Charleston Southern.
He played at Campbell University where he earned both his undergrad and MBA degree. Tom and his wife have 2 children.
