New York City based instructor, entrepreneur, and community builder, Douglas “Coop” brings a grounded East Coast sensibility with a distinctly creative edge. Ever since he was young, he has loved camping under open skies, going to the shore, swimming in the ocean, and returning to the rhythm of nature. That connection continues to shape his approach to movement, mindfulness, and community.
Outside the studio, Coop is the founder of CoopedUp, a creative consulting company focused on culture and human connection. His teaching is rooted in meditation, breathwork, and intentional living, offering classes that balance structure and flow, intensity and restoration.
Coop can also support multi experience programming. As a former drag performer with stage experience, he is available for select entertainment or event hosting in addition to yoga and activity leadership.
