I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years. During summer of 2025 I also got certified to be a Yoga Instructor. I was born in Belarus and my native languages are Belarusian and Russian. I began my studies in Belarus in Minsk State Linguistic University learning English and Spanish and how to teach a foreign language. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Studies.
I have a very supportive family. This year my daughter, Kseniya, started college. My twins, Maksim and Uliana, have just turned ten years old and will attend fourth grade.
I love spending time with my family. Our favorite summer destinations are Superior lake and Michigan lake shores. We enjoy biking, hiking, swimming and simply being together. My favorite pastimes are reading and listening to podcasts. I love learning new things and discovering new favorite places to visit. I am passionate about learning and teaching.
Teaching is one of the greatest joys of my life. Families are an enormous part of that joy.
MY YOGA TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style centers on creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every yogi feels welcomed and supported on their yoga journey. I bring a patient yet energetic approach to my classes, meeting students exactly where they are while gently encouraging growth and exploration.
I like to include special personalized touches into my classes, as well as to take time to understand individual needs and offer modifications or adjustments that honor each person’s unique practice.
I thrive on creativity, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to my teaching that keep classes engaging and dynamic for my students.
