Hi, I’m Amy—certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and the founder of Amy Monroe Fitness based in Asheville, North Carolina.
I specialize in helping women—especially those over 40—build strength, confidence, and sustainable movement routines that actually fit into real life. My approach to fitness is rooted in consistency over intensity. I believe the most meaningful transformations come from simple, repeatable habits—not extreme programs or short bursts of motivation.
My coaching blends strength training, functional movement, and intuitive wellness practices to help you feel capable and at home in your body. Through my online coaching platform, I create clear, supportive plans that remove the guesswork so you can focus on showing up and progressing at your own pace.
I’m also a NASM Certified Group Fitness Instructor and a certified Les Mills BODYPUMP instructor, which means I love bringing energy, music, and a sense of community into movement. Whether it’s a structured strength session or a group class, I’m passionate about creating workouts that feel both empowering and accessible.
On retreat, I bring a grounded, approachable energy to every session. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—whether that means lifting heavy, moving gently, or simply reconnecting with your body in a new environment. Expect thoughtful programming, expert guidance, and a refreshing perspective that makes fitness feel sustainable, supportive, and even a little fun.
