Like many, I first came to yoga for the physical benefits and as an aide to old running injuries. It wasn't until 2020, after years of half-hearted practice that I returned fully to the mat. Stress, anxiety, and burnout were wreaking havoc on my physical and mental health. Yoga offered me the safe space to be with these feelings and tune into my body. After quickly noticing the release and relief my mind and body would feel after every class, I wanted to dig deeper and learn why. I found the Woodstock Yoga Lounge in Illinois and completed my 200hour teacher training in April, 2022. For something that started as a means to overcome my own obstacles, I felt compelled to share my learnings with the community. I love the diversity that yoga offers, whether you are new to the practice or a seasoned practioner, there is something for everyone.
In January, 2026, I returned back to the Yoga Lounge to begin my 300 hour advanced training to be come a 500 hour instructor.
I have had the honor to study under renowned Master instructor Gabriel Halpern as well as Rich Logan, Lori Gasper, and Cara Chang Mutert.
