A firefighter since 2010 and promoted to Fire Captain in 2024, Mike understands better than most what it means to train with purpose. Fitness isn’t optional in his world — it’s a lifeline. In addition to leading his crew through high-stakes situations, Mike has made physical training a cornerstone of his role in the fire service, designing and leading fitness programs that keep his fellow firefighters strong, resilient, and ready for whatever comes their way.
Mike has been leading group fitness classes since 2010, building a reputation for high-energy instruction that meets every participant where they are. Since 2018, he has expanded his expertise to aquafit, bringing that same enthusiasm to the pool and helping clients of all ages and abilities discover the power of water-based training.
But true fitness goes beyond the physical. Mike is also a trained meditation leader and mindfulness instructor, helping clients build the mental resilience and inner calm that complement every aspect of an active lifestyle. He knows firsthand that a strong mind is just as essential as a strong body — whether you’re battling a blazing structure, charging down a race course, or simply navigating the demands of daily life.
An elite competitor, Mike claimed back-to-back national championship titles in Masters ski racing in 2025 and 2026 — a testament to the discipline and dedication he models for his students every day. His background as a former alpine ski coach sharpens his ability to break down complex movement, give precise technical feedback, and get the best out of every athlete in his care.
Off the slopes, Mike is an advanced mountain biker with a deep passion for the outdoors that fuels everything he does.
At home, he is a devoted husband and proud father of two daughters — the motivation behind everything he does.
