RON COLEMAN.  I'm a certified USPTA teaching pro from Seattle, WA.   I played college tennis for two years in New Mexico advancing to the southwest NJCAA regional finals in both singles and doubles in my sophmore year.  I continued to play at the University of South Florida and competed in USTA open tournaments for four more years following graduation.

I'm currently the tennis coordinator and head pro at the View Ridge Swim and Tennis Club in Seattle.  I have also traveled with Steve Vaughn's tennis camps and have taught youth and adult camps in Australia and Mexico.

I have been teaching and coaching for over 18 years and have been awarded "Coach Of The Year" three times in three different high school conferences in the state of Washington.  I have successfully coached the boys and girls varsity high school teams at Newport High School in Bellevue, WA to six state team titles and five individual singles and doubles titles.  I have also coached a women's NTRP 3.5 team to the National Championships.

I have a passion for the sport and enjoy working with players all of ages and abilities.  I believe in RESPECT for yourself, your opponent, your teammates, your coaches, parents, and most certainly for the INTEGRITY of the sport. If you are motivated, and you stay focused, you will be competitive...you will be successful. I believe tennis is a life sport that should be enjoyed by everyone.
