Pamela has been involved in fitness since her younger years as a high school cheerleader and then later as a certified group exercise fitness instructor. Her most recent passion for fitness includes her love for Pilates. Pam became eager to learn more at the instructor level after taking only one class. Her desire to learn more about the art of Pilates led her to mat and reformer training through the world renowned, Stottâ„¢ Pilates Method, by master trainer Jessica Gurerico of Pilates Studio of Central Ohio. Pamela began her pursuit fitness career as a young single mom while balancing it with college studies and employment. Her lifetime experience in fitness also includes various fitness disciplines including spinning, aerobics, and muscle conditioning. She has earned certifications through ACE, AFAA, BFIT University, NASM and Madd Dog Athletics.
In addition to her teaching experience in fitness, Pamela has also served in the capacity of Group Exercise Director for a Bally Total Fitness location for two years. She has most recently been certified in Zumbaâ„¢, the highly energetic latin dance aerobics.
Pamela’s background in the health field led her to a graduate degree in management and minor in adolescent health from Case Western Reserve University. Pamela believes in a healthy body, mind and spirit. When she’s not teaching Pilates, Pam fulfills her passion for wellness as a lifetime health advocate, motivating people towards positive behavior change for living a healthier lifestyle. Pamela spends her time at PAASH Pilates fitness studio teaching private sessions and a variety of Pilates small group trainings while also managing the business. Pam guides you towards developing a strong, healthy mind and body. She enjoys working with clients by inspiring them to achieve their goals and strive for their greatest potential.
Her commitment to the Stott method, inspired by Joseph Pilates principals, is the foundation of her teaching and she is currently working towards full STOTTâ„¢ certification.
