Andy Shields

Born 4/2/51 in Dallas. Grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Fort Worth Country Day School. Attended Tulane University on a full tennis scholarship. Graduated from Trinity University in 1974 where I was also on a tennis scholarship. Taught tennis for four years after college and played in a few professional tournaments including the Sugar Circuit in South Africa. Entered law school in 1978 and graduated in 1980 in the top third of my class. Practiced law in Austin eventually starting my own law firm, Shields and Rusk. Retired in 1996. Currently teach tennis on my own court and am the owner (and sole employee) of TennisFrance.
