IN 1982, I WAS WATCHING TELEVISION ONE MORNING. I SAW THIS SHOW, THE 20 MINUTE WORKOUT. I WAS INSTANTLY HOOKED. THE THOUGHT OF EXERCISE PERFORMED WITH UPBEAT MUSIC. I WAS IN LOVE. I WENT OUT AND JOINED A GYM AND TOOK AS MANY CLASSES AS I COULD. I WAS ADDICTED. I KNEW THAT I WANTED TO TEACH. I TOOK A JOB AS A LEAD BOX GIRL. I HAD TO PUT OUT BOXES IN STORES FOR PEOPLE TO SIGN UP FOR A FREE WEEK. I HATED IT, BUT I WANTED TO GET MY FOOT IN THE DOOR. I EVENTUALLY WAS ABLE TO SUBSTITUTE FOR A COULD OF CLASSES. I FELL DEEPLY IN LOVE. I STUDIED AND BECAME A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR AND I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK. I LOVE TEACHING AEROBICS. IT IS A PART OF ME. I FEEL SO GOOD AFTER A CLASS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MEMBERS ARE SATISFIED. I AM A POLICE OFFICER AND FITNESS IS IMPORTANT AND CAN SAVE MY LIFE. MY STUDENTS TEASE ME AND SAY THEY WORK HARD IN MY CLASS BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO GO TO JAIL. WE HAVE A LOT OF FUN.
