Jennifer began practicing yoga twenty years ago as a way to manage chronic back pain. She discovered that yoga not only eased the pain, but over time, she was able to heal herself entirely by understanding her physical structure. Yoga has influenced her life in many more ways, as her meditation and breathing practice have deepened. She began teaching in 2000, and in 2008 she completed a two-year, 700-hr teacher training certification at the Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto. As well, Jennifer has a great love for dance, and has received certification in ecstatic dance facilitation through “Yoga Meets Dance”. She currently DJs and travels around sharing her love of ecstatic dance. The discipline of yoga has had such a positive impact on her life, that she is always drawn to sharing what she has learned with others. Jennifer has a very calm and gentle manner when teaching, and students always feel centred and peaceful at the end of each class. She is full of compassion and understanding for each student and where they are at on their life's journey.
