I have been a group fitness instructor for about 10 years, since I began teaching while working toward my Bachelor's in Exercise Science. Teaching dance and cheerleading for several years, the transition into teaching group fitness was natural for me. I recently decided to try another direction in life and trade-in my fulltime fitness career to become a registered nurse. I just completed my BSN and received my licensure as an RN. I now work fulltime as a nurse at Good Samaritan hospital and teach fitness classes as a secondary career. Health and fitness remains my true passion and I keep this at the forefront of my mind. I am beginning my Master's as a Nurse Practitioner and would like to transition into preventative health/medicine from acute care in order to combine my passions. I look forward to what is in-store for me!
