Mary is an enthusiast, dedicated individual that loves to teach exercise classes. She began teaching aerobics in 1988 at Bally’s Total Fitness. She taught for 5 years and stopped only to go live in France and Italy. Having lived and worked abroad, she is very personable and can relate to a variety of individuals. She is fluent in Greek, French and Italian and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. Shortly after earning her MBA in 1998, she chose to make personal training her full-time career. Her love of fitness brought her back to instructing clients, this time, in a one-on-one setting. After several years of training clients with various injuries and limitations, Mary actively pursued continuing education classes in MAT, rehab, pregnancy and sports injury, among others. She was looking for a form of exercise that clients could do with ease, yet still be challenged. She found that in Pilates. In 2004, upon completion of the Stott Pilates Training Program, she co-launched the Pilates Group Reformer Program at Lifetime Fitness in Skokie, Illinois. Working part-time, she had over 50 clients that stayed loyal to her for over 3 years. Currently, Mary enjoys assisting clients exercise, relax, and feel good about themselves. She appreciates the value of good health. In her spare time, she likes to walk, swim, and ride her bike with her husband and two young boys.
