Born and raised in North Carolina my fitness experiences began early. My father was the physical fitness coordinator and deputy chief for our local fire department personnel. From an early age my brother and I were encouraged to participate in sports and fitness activities from basketball to gymnastics. I was very competitive and began cheering at the highschool level as the team in our town was a competition squad (traveling and ranking nationally). I went on to dance on my collegiate squad and then was hired to captain the Raleigh Kittyhawks pro cheer team. I always enjoyed taking and teaching aerobics. After years of enjoying step, hi-lo, circuit, spin and core classes I became certified in order to teach at a new gym opening in our area. My classes are evening and early morning. By day, I practice law, owning my own business with two law office locations. I am thrity seven and married with two children.
