I started teaching aerobics at The Pottstown YMCA in 1984. While teaching at the Y, I completed my group exercise instructor certification with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Through continuing education, I began teaching a variety of classes including step, aqua aerobics, hi/low and interval training classes. I continued teaching at the YMCA for about 10 years before moving on to Club Physique, a health and fitness club in Phoenixville, Pa. While at Club Physique, I continued my education and began teaching kickboxing and hip-hop/funk classes as well as other classes. After about 4 years, I moved on to Gold�s Gym of Limerick and Gold�s Gym of Oaks, where I am currently employed. I continue to teach a variety of classes at Gold�s including Body Pump in which I completed my certification with Body Training Systems in 2001. I am also employed at The Spring Valley YMCA, where I teach cardio classes, Schwinn Cycling and Yoga.
I sincerely enjoy contributing to the health and fitness of other individuals and at the same time keeping myself fit and healthy. I feel with my outgoing personality, I make my classes enjoyable as well as beneficial to my participants.
