Joe Mesiano

I have been a jock my entire life and the one sports I have the most passion for is tennis. I play competitive tennis almost every day but more than anything I love teaching tennis. The biggest thrill I get is to see my students improve and the smile on their faces, when they say to me, wow coach, I did it. I am certified by the PTR as a Professional 5A. I have taken classes to increase my knowledge and expertise in wheel chair tennis, cardio tennis, doubles strategy, and munchkin tennis. I am the head varsity tennis coach for our high school. My clincs are stroke of the day, drills, singles and doubles stategies, and most of all having fun and enjoying the great game of tennis.

I was honored as the 2014 USTA NC High School Coach of the Year.
